The Violet Bridge Foundation runs on a small but dedicated team. Every volunteer hour — whether spent reviewing nominations, coordinating with providers, spreading the word at a community event, or supporting our administrative work — directly expands our capacity to serve more families.

We are a young organization with a focused mission: keep children with autism in therapy during coverage gaps. Volunteers are not an afterthought here. They are the infrastructure that makes this work possible.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds — healthcare, social work, education, legal, marketing, event coordination, and beyond. If you care about this mission and have time to give, there is a place for you.

Nomination Reviewer

Help our team review incoming grant nominations, verify documentation, and ensure families receive timely responses. Ideal for those with a background in healthcare, social work, or case management.

Community Outreach

Represent the Foundation at local events, resource fairs, and community gatherings. Share our mission, distribute materials, and help connect families to our nomination process.

Flexible / event-based

Awareness Ambassador

Help grow our reach by sharing our mission on social media, in professional networks, or within your local online communitues. No formal commitment required — just a willingness to spread the word.

Pro Bono Professional

Are you an attorney, accountant, therapist, or healthcare professional? We welcome pro bono support in areas including nonprofit compliance, financial oversight, clinical guidance, and family advocacy.

Event Support

Help plan and staff Foundation fundraising events, awareness walks, and community gatherings. Responsibilities vary by event and may include setup, registration, logistics, and donor engagement.

Content & Communications

Support our newsletter, social media, and website with writing, editing, or design. Help us tell the stories of the families we serve in a way that is accurate, dignified, and compelling.

What happens after you apply

Submit your interest form

Fill out the form below with your background, availability, and the areas where you’d like to contribute.

We’ll reach out within two weeks

A member of our team will contact you to learn more about your experience and discuss how you might fit into our current needs.

Orientation and onboarding

All volunteers complete a brief orientation to learn about our mission, our families, and our confidentiality standards before beginning any work.

Start making a difference

You’ll be matched with a role and a point of contact. We keep communication simple and respect your time.
