Our mission is to keep care going when coverage stops.
The Violet Bridge Foundation exists so children do not lose momentum
in ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other essential
services during Medicaid lapses, insurance disruptions, or waiver delays.
“No child should lose progress waiting for the system to catch up.”
That idea drives every grant, every provider partnership, and every family we serve.
Why we exist
Even a short therapy interruption can undo hard-won progress for children with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, and other conditions that require ongoing support.
Coverage gaps are urgent
Families often face delays they did not cause. Insurance paperwork stalls, Medicaid renewals lapse, and waiver approvals take longer than a child can afford to wait.
Help should be simple
We believe emergency support should move faster than the problem. That is why our model is direct, practical, and built to avoid red tape.
Progress is fragile
Therapy works through consistency. When sessions stop, children can lose routine, skills, confidence, and momentum that took months to build.

When a child’s therapy coverage lapses, families shouldn’t have to choose between progress and survival. We provide emergency lapse grants so kids can keep going — no matter what the system throws at them.
Fast
Applications are designed to be short and manageable so families can ask for help without another overwhelming process.
Direct
Approved funds go straight to therapy providers, which helps reduce delay and keeps support tied to ongoing care.
Child-centered
Every decision starts with one question: what does this child need to stay in therapy and keep moving forward?
A mission built for families, providers, and supporters
