“Helping children maintain access to essential care during coverage gaps — because no child should lose progress waiting for the system to catch up.”

When coverage lapses, children lose access to the care they depend on. We step in — fast, direct, and without red tape.
For children with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental differences, even a few weeks without care can undo months of hard-won progress. Families know this. Providers know this. And yet the system keeps creating gaps.
The Violet Bridge Foundation exists to fill those gaps. Not with paperwork. Not with a waitlist. With a grant — fast, direct, and no strings attached.
of grant funds go directly to care providers — never to overhead
We step in when insurance lapses, Medicaid approvals are delayed, or waiver funding hasn’t arrived — so therapy never has to stop.
We work directly with ABA therapy centers, speech therapy practices, occupational therapy clinics, and other providers serving children with disabilities. Grant funds are sent straight to your billing department — no delays, no administrative red tape. If your provider isn’t yet a partner, we will reach out to them on your behalf.

Step 1 — Apply Online
Fill out our short grant application. No lengthy paperwork, no income verification hoops — just the basics so we can understand your child’s situation and current coverage gap. Takes less than 10 minutes.
Step 2 — Quick Review
Our team reviews every application within 48 to 72 hours. We will reach out directly if we need any additional information from you.
Step 3 — Funds Sent Directly
Approved grants are paid directly to your child’s provider. No checks to cash, no reimbursements to chase, no waiting for a bank transfer to clear.
Step 4 — Therapy Continues
Your child stays in sessions. Progress doesn’t stop. That is the whole point of everything we do.
We serve families of children with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, and other conditions that require ongoing support.
You do not need to have a specific diagnosis to apply. You do not need to prove financial hardship. You need a child who is receiving therapy, a coverage gap that is preventing sessions from continuing, and a provider who can confirm the situation.
That is it. We will handle the rest.

Whether your family needs help right now, or you want to be the reason another family doesn’t have to stop — there is a place for you here.
If your child’s therapy has stopped — or is at risk of stopping — due to a Medicaid lapse, insurance gap, or waiver delay, we want to hear from you. Our grant application takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and our team reviews every application within 48 to 72 hours. There is no income threshold, no lengthy documentation process, and no cost to apply. If we can help, we will. If we cannot fully fund your request right now, we will tell you honestly and connect you with other resources.
Every dollar donated to The Violet Bridge Foundation goes toward keeping a child in the therapy they need. No fundraising galas, no administrative bloat — just direct impact for families who are running out of options. A single grant can cover two to four weeks of therapy sessions — enough time for a family to get their coverage reinstated, an appeal approved, or a waiver slot activated. Your gift bridges that gap.
If you are an ABA therapy center, speech therapy practice, occupational therapy clinic, or other provider serving children with developmental differences — we want to work with you. Partner providers can refer families directly, and grant funds are sent straight to your billing department with no delay. Becoming a partner costs nothing and takes about 15 minutes of paperwork. Once you are in our network, your clients have a direct path to emergency funding when their coverage lapses.
Corporate sponsors make it possible for us to serve more families, faster. Sponsorship packages include recognition on our website, social media, and event materials — and the knowledge that your company is directly funding therapy access for children in your community. We offer flexible sponsorship tiers starting at $500 per year. All sponsorships are tax-deductible as charitable contributions to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
